Nature Playscapes
For my newest and most exciting adventure, I've partnered with a local landscape design company, Sparrow and Brambles. Together we design, build and implement Nature Playscapes for children on residential properties and daycare centers. The concept behind these playscapes is to connect children to the natural world through play. The playscapes can consist of pollinator gardens, birdhouses, wooden log walks and balance beams, teepees and forts, as well as outdoor musical instruments and art boards. Studies have shown, when a child is closely connected to the natural world they grow and advance both mentally and physically. We love the idea of contributing to that growth in a child.
